Spring Branch ISD is dedicated to providing the highest quality technology resources available in order to prepare our students for their futures. That is why we are making Atomic Learning available to you—we want you to have the resources to help your child with school work. And while you’re at it, you can use Atomic Learning to learn about software applications that interest you! It’s convenient, free and available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, all year long.

Our subscription to Atomic Learning also includes closed-captioning on many tutorials, Spanish language tutorials, and much more.

Access Atomic Learning:

  • Go to www.AtomicLearning.com

  • Enter the user name and password based on your home high school (Please see your school Librarian or call Educational Technology at   713-251/2329      for your username and  password)

  • Type your question in the search box and click on Go!

  • An answer will be provided in the form of a one- to three-minute tutorial movie. The movie will walk you and your child through all the steps needed to complete the task.

 

NEW--21st Century Professional Development & Technology Integration


Atomic Learning is offering a new and effective tech support and professional development program that empowers educators with the training and resources needed to create 21st Century ready students. The new package includes project-based training to develop skills 21st Century-ready students. Atomic Learning’s 21st Century Skills Collection includes professional development resources and curriculum materials to empower educators to infuse 21st century skills into the classroom. This collection includes: 

 

21st Century Skills Projects

Prescribed training paths based on identified skills gaps "21st Century Concepts" training to build understanding of what it means to infuse the training of technology with 21st century themes such as global awareness and concepts such as critical thinking 21st Century Skills professional development projects.

  • Provide professional development opportunities for the teacher.
  • Give a concrete example of how 21st century skills might be taught in the classroom, within the context of a specific subject and commonly taught topic.
  • Can be easily adapted and extended to more fully support the teaching and learning of other 21st century concepts and skills, beyond those related to technology.
